Joachim Lim, 14 years old, was born in Singapore. He is a student of The Purcell School, UK, studying piano with Professor Pascal Nemirovski. He enjoys performing and sharing music with others and admires great composers like Liszt, Chopin, Bach and Beethoven. He gave his first public performance when he was four at the University Cultural Centre, Singapore. He continues to be active, performing at St Martin-in-the-fields, London; the Basilica di San Pietro, Perugia Italy; Fazioli Concert Hall, Sacile Italy and Kawaguchi Lilia Music Hall, Japan. He was the Chopin Prize winner at the 10th San Daniele International Piano Meeting 2014, Italy and Third Prize winner at the Lagny-sur-Marne International Piano Competition 2015, France. In 2016, he was awarded the Gold medal in the AADGT International Young Gifted Musicians Festival “Passion of Music 2016”, USA and has performed at the Winners’ Concert at Carnegie Hall, New York.

I love to design and create motorised toy vehicles using LEGO.
