Welcome to the First Midwest International Piano Competition!

$25,000 prize money

The University of Northern Iowa School of Music is thrilled to announce the Midwest International Piano Competition, June 1-7, 2014. We hope you will join us for the inaugural celebration of this new, biennial, global piano competition and festival located in the heartland of the United States of America. The event is open to outstanding youth and professional performing pianists and audience enthusiasts.

The competition is open to the public with free admission to all rounds except the finals.

        2nd - William YANG (USA)

        3rd - Yinuo WANG (China)

Senior Category:

        1st - Margaryta GOLOVKO (Ukraine)

        2nd - Elina AKSELRUD (Ukraine - USA)

        3rd - Tomer GEWIRTZMAN (Israel)
